Matt Pang (PAnGottic) presents Loaded, a video work-in-progress, where he shares ideas and tests of his newly invented ‘no-contact-audience-triggered-pneumatic catapults’.
Hazel Lam presents her work-in-progress work ‘Spring Steps’. Hazel travels around the city of Hong Kong in search of a structure where she can hang her rope and do a handstand. Exploring the contrasting images of the body against landscape, the old and the new urban scenes, this movie shows what life is like upside down in this city in Spring 2021.
Following the sharing of the artist’s work-in-progress videos there will be a talk with them about their works, and a Q&A with the audience.
Matt Pang (PAnGottic)
PanGottic is a BAME led company that has been creating award-winning circus and physical theatre since 2008, performing in over 14 different countries. PanGottic creates work that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, regardless of age, gender, nationality, race or ability.
Hazel Lam
Hazel Lam is a multi-disciplinary artist with an immense interest in collaborative work. Trained in dance, contemporary circus, and music, Hazel creates visually and conceptually compelling performances in theatre, film and outdoor work with artists employing different media.
