It’s been an absolute pleasure to see @ling_ql wit It's been an absolute pleasure to see @ling_ql with her fellow Singaporean friend, food writer @iamshuhanlee on last week's Low Carbon Chinatown workshop course where they explored making a low carbon (footprint) version of a traditional wonton dumpling soup! It's also the last of the engagement series that Ling is hosting this year for her project.What's Next?We are currently designing and building a pop up space at Newport Place in Chinatown from 17-20th September as part of @l_d_f_official, together with collaborators @usman_haque @atelier.one using low carbon materials and processes - stay tuned!During the pop up, we will host a series of sit down meals featuring all the low carbon dishes, discussions and talks about the data science of climate change and Chinese food culture. Less than 1 week to register interest for our awar Less than 1 week to register interest for our award-winning art and technology project, HOME X!This live/digital hybrid production combines theatre, music, dance, gaming and virtual reality (VR) technology to create an immersive and interactive experience, exploring notions of belonging and roots, destruction and renewal. Learn more via links in bio.What?We are looking for community participants, particularly from, but not limited to, ESEA heritage backgrounds, to share stories about their lived experiences of HOME X’s themes of home, roots and identity. Participants can remain anonymous.  We are specifically looking for participants that currently live, or have recent experience of living, in CAMBRIDGE, OXFORD, YORK and HONG KONG, as the work will tour to these sites in 2023. Low Carbon Chinatown’s Hackney workshop started la Low Carbon Chinatown's Hackney workshop started last Monday. With the help of acclaimed chefs and a data scientist, our participants were creating recipes that can reduce our impact on the environment.
